Dear Comrades,

I extend my warmest congratulations greetings to the Communist League of Uganda on the occasion of your first anniversary.
This day marks a potential turning point in the organization of the Ugandan mass movement — of workers and peasants — guided by Marxist-Leninist ideology, to transform society and overcome systems of exploitation, moving toward a classless society.

I wish you success in your struggle to raise class consciousness among the oppressed masses and to challenge imperialism and capitalism.
May your struggle be united with ongoing anti-imperialist and anti-capitalist movements across East Africa, Africa as a whole, and the world.
