Letter on the 2nd Anniversary of the CLU

Dear comrades!

Let me bring you congratulations on the CLU’s 2nd Party founding anniversary on behalf of the Communist League of Germany (KLD).

You have walked along a long path in these past two years from just a small nucleus to a Party that has its members in all regions of Uganda. You have achieved a lot in a relatively short period of time.

I wrote in an article a few months ago:

“What Uganda truly needs is a communist party being guided by Marxism-Leninism-Maoism and continuing the socialist path in Uganda pioneered by Obote.

This party is the Communist League of Uganda.”¹

I still uphold this view and will continue to uphold it because you are the only ones who can show the Ugandan working people the way out of poverty, ignorance and the imperialist domination of Uganda. In order to achieve that goal it is currently the main task to educate and organize the masses to fill up the ranks of our Party.

May you continue to be as successful in that as in the past two years!

Long live the cause of socialism and communism!

Long live the CLU!

Long live proletarian internationalism!
